BASHTHEBISHOP
Do you just unbolt the old ones(jspec) and bolt on the new hybrids? Daft question i know but i am sure at some point i would need to replace the turbos or refurb them.

RobSheffield
if you can get a set of blown turbos the parts and labour to make a lovely set of 'as new' hybrids would be a fair bit less than the cost of buying new Keep an eye on ebay over the winter months - as temps drop boost levels rise on poorly modded cars and turbos blow. flukey-lukey
Roughly how much would it cost for the parts and labour to make a lovely set of as new hybrids? Thinking of taking my stock j-specs off over the winter and doing this
RobSheffield
A guy with a LOT more knowledge than me sent this in a PM All in cost for parts £330 Machining of 2 comp housings £100 ish Balancing £60 ish Total for a basic set of hybrids, say £500. That's with no wear that needs rectifying in the centre housing, no trick parts like the twin turbine end seals or 360 bearings
