CJ
They say that we are never too old to learn and that we should strive to learn new things all the time - so what new lesson or skill have you learned recently?
Big Mark
Watching The Garage the other day I leant that if you disconect a battery charger from a battery whilst the battery is still on it may cause a spark which will ignite the Oxygen and Hyrodgen gases that are produced during charging. It went up with a hell of a bang and covered the mechanic in battery acid.

_Lynz_
I have learnt a lesson via my husband. He put the gas fire on and one of the pebbles slipped, so he turned the fire straight off and proceded to move the offending stone. I have learnt not to touch the pebbles on the fire even if it has only been on for a minute as they are bloody hot and you will get burned!! flukey-lukey
When cooking a pizza in the oven remember to put it on a baking tray first, otherwise it ends up disintigrating into a big sloppy pile of pizza mush...still edible though
