robin
Don't say that. The closest I have found is waitrose organic green tea. All the others are "green tea with lemon." or some other bastardised version.
Nic
Nic - There's a shop not far from me that sells green tea and sweat potato icecream Not tried sweet potato before. The taste of green tea in China and Japan is very different. Not a great fan of Chinese tea (think hot water with twigs in it), love most Japanese teas I have tried though. Have you tried the Chinese supermarkets? My local ones have a vast selection of teas - the last one I tried was a loose leaf "gunpowder" variant but I wasn't keen. robin
Unfortunetely there are no chinese supermarkets local to me. Next time I am in lodon I will have a look though. I have only ever looked in places like waitrose, morrisons and healthfood shops etc.

I was going to hit the Chinese sector in Birmingham for it.
Chris Wilson
I just knew you'd pick up some mucky habits going to these foreign parts... Now you are off to China town in Birmingham. It'll be the opium dens next, I tell you.
Pete
It'll be the opium dens next, I tell you. Chasing the Dragon. Looked like fun in "From Hell". (Good Robbie Coltraine / Johnny Depp / Jack the Ripper themed film) I love China town in brum. Those little cafe shops are excellent places to eat and cost naff all. Really good, healthy, tasty food. SupraGirlie
I drink loads of herbal and fruit teas, no choice really as black tea and coffee give me migraine Green tea varies in strength according to the brand. Also on its own its...well...foul. With some flavouring is better, jasmine is good, lemon gives it some bite and takes away the weeds flavour That's what I do, just add lemon to them makes them taste much nicer I drink Keemun tea all day at work it's yummy

caseys
Ooops I forgot to mention. Chilli tea is good to drink as it invigorates you as well as speed up your metabolism - so it's good to drink as part of calorie burn / weight loss! Pete
Chilli makes me shit, I think I have an intolerance to it, but thanks for the recommendation anyway.
bmx1lew
Having lived here in main land China for 5 years it is an amazing place - amazing that the police do nothing except have long lunches and use police cars as the own personal/family transport, amazing that nobody bothers with traffic rules/laws and you would be really disappointed as the don't have any SUPRA'S here(only in HK) Most foreigners drink Twining's or Stassen Ceylon Pure here as the green tea is at the best .....horrible! what made me want to live there was the people, every one was so kind made some good friends there, just the general surroundings felt comforting the atmosphere was great, To be honest the likely hood of me ever living there is very low, my sister lived there and I went out to stay with her, cant remember what district we stayed in but was cool, deffo would go back though. also if any one wants green tea i can get some from my local china town. i will take pic's off it when i get in and if any one want some let me know and i can post some, think it is about £2.50 or £3, lasts for ever aswell as you get so much. any one had moneky tea before? its picked by monkeys.
