Safer Driving Tips - **PLEASE READ**

Class One

Recommended Posts

A friend of mine lost his life in an road accident this morning, I'd urge everyone to read/reread the first post in this thread.

It wasn't the person the A456 towards Birmingham was it (I know you were in HK last i read)? That's not far from my house. Condolences to the family whoever they are.

my mini tip is when coming off any motorway type road is to open the windows a bit to get the wind rush reality.

As otherwise it is possible to assume you are going slower than you actually are and have issues at ends of empty slip roads when other traffic hasn't slowed you down.

First learnt this in my Starlet with one hairy moment and done it ever since as a result and it has helped me avoid further scares.

That's really good advice. Definitely easy to not realize how fast you're going when you've just been driving way faster.
