Dave Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 can anyone tell me why the headlamp has condensation in it when im using the headlamps a lot .doesnt leak being jetwashed i have put clear sealant all the way round the join but still does it. help? Terminator Posted December 20, 2004 Share Posted December 20, 2004 I know my lights don't leak any more but after not using the car for almost three weeks, I noticed a bit of condensation down the bottom of the lamps, the other night. So I put the car in the garage with the engine running and all the lights on for 5 minutes to really warm them up. All is well again now. When you are moving the lamps get cool down by the airflow so never get hot enough to get really dry at this ime of year.JMHO Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

SatSport Posted December 22, 2004 Share Posted December 22, 2004 Had the same problem in one of mine. I replaced the old bulbs with those new `whiter` types, cured the condensation as well.
