Couple of things about cars in general

1. I think pretty much all saloon cars ive seen dont have rear windscreen wipers, why is this?! surely water lands on them just as much as hatchbacks? :search:

2. 4x4's, in the variety of the shogun, and that smaller landrover (think its the freelander) form of car etc etc. They have what appears to be full rear light clusters, like a car, but all the lights are actually in a shitty strip at the bottom in the rear bumper?! Whats up with that? :search:

I've seen an orion and another saloon with a rear wiper and it just looks all wrong. When you are on the move you don't get so much rain on the back window as a hatch back. 4X4's are terrible for water on the back window. As for the light clusters on the likes of the freelander I have no idea why they stick the damn brake lights so low either.

Our Beemer is a coupe and has no rear wiper. What a PITA when it's raining and the car has been still!

Although it would look shite with a wiper too.... I may yet employ a young phillipino boy to give it a wipe every now and then, he could live in the boot....:eyebrows:;)
