pete.w Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 i fitted a boot install last week and disconected the battery for about an hour ,when reconecting it the tickover went right down too 650 ,up until then its always ticked over very high at 1100 rpms ,im only asking what could cause this becuse its just started ticking over again ar 1100-1150 rpms ,any ideas to why its doing this and why if the batterys disconected it runs sweet but only for a short time ,thanks pete Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sean1933 Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 As above, give the idle control valve a clean then reconnect the battery and it should eventually idle properly.
