tooquicktostop
Just spent some time with Mark at Phoenix and after some consideration I have decided to have a brand new bottom end rebuild and use the fully built head from Dudes car, Mark feels this along with the addition of ARP rod bolts, Falcon Rods and ARP head bolts should give me a reliable 750-800bhp base (only looking to run 600bhp), so I have put the bottom end from Dudes car and my re-worked head from my car up for sale with some HKS 264 Ex and 256 In cams and HKS pulleys I am sticking with the 272 HKS Cams and Pulleys, all finished by Xmas I hope

tooquicktostop
Is there such a thing as a reliable 750-800BHP car ? What he was talking about was that the bottom end of the built engine would be able to handle 750-800 BHP with the weak points (rods, rod bolts and head bolts) replaced but with keeping the stock pistons you are working with a trusted tolerence level, put this along with the fact that my T04R makes 600 BHP at 1.5bar not 800 BHP I should have a block that is not over stressed by the set up, this does not have any influence on the mapping, fuelling etc which all need to be working correctly in conjunction with the above Oh am I know all about things going wrong

tooquicktostop
You're the reason I'm fitting my own suspension upgrade then. I take it Mark told you he was too busy He is flat out at the moment, hope it is worth the wait I have been broken since July !
EdMorris
Well, I actually planned to do it myself, but when I asked if he could sort any mistakes I make thats when he said he had "A few jobs on". Typical Mark, 'a few jobs' = engine rebuilds. Top bloke, I expect your engine will look and perform outstanding.
