wallace9
Can someone please advise me of the best place to go for a new battery. Car wouldn't start last night and had to jump start it then again this morning
AndyT
National Autocentre got me one no problems. Halfrauds or any local motor parts place. Just gotta watch the terminal size if yours is an import. Smaller terminals on imports.
wallace9
Nice one. Mine is an import so cheers for the heads up. Can you remember how much you paid?
Guest CoolsBlue
i paod £60 for one from my local auto shop, gave them the old battery, and they said this is to small for a 3ltr supra!! 45watts iirc, so i got the proper size, not dishing out £75 for those yellow ones:D
AndyT
Nice one. Mine is an import so cheers for the heads up. Can you remember how much you paid? £55 not a high quality job. I tend towards cheap because I run the car for 3 months 'ish then have to lay it up or rely on the lad to take her out to charge it. Got back this time and battery was fooked. Best batteries are something like Optimas and cost crap loads. I think they're for high spec high compression use.

Masenko
I recently bought a new battery from Halfords. It's a calcium battery, comes with 4 years warranty...30% more starting power and more resistant to under bonnet temperatures. The battery code is HCB005 if I remember correctly; and the pricing is £79.99. C~
