Manu mode on allows you to shift gears like a manual. Do a search all will be explained. The search button is found at the top. Make sure MANU is off (no manu light on dash) as this is used for safe driving in rain/wet conditions, this stops the gears changing down and you can't kick down. Scoboblio Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 I find that keeping things simple and not messing around with MANU mode etc etc when it's wet is the easiest way to keep control - just be sensible. China Man Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 If you are new to auto and supra then make sure don't floor it if the front wheel is not straight.... if you lost the back end like me when I just got the supra then it will be costly and almost write off if you hit anything. d00gzy Posted November 13, 2007 Share Posted November 13, 2007 once u learn the autobox you will know when the right time to press the accelerator to make it go. To feel plenty of power when u come to a stop, press the accelerator to the floor without any hesitating and it will move, if u hesitate and lift off slightly it will change up a gear and not feel so fast! no need to mess with the manu or overdrive buttons.
