Tannhauser
When I'm as old as some of you guys I imagine my list will be much longer No, by then you'll have forgotten the same number of bands that you've seen as we have.
GeordieSteve
Ozzy this year in Birmingham. Maybe the best gig I've been to
RedM
No, by then you'll have forgotten the same number of bands that you've seen as we have. Ain't that the truth.
Tannhauser
Saw Rush at the NEC Arena last month. Me too. (I think you need to be (a) old and (b) play an instrument to 'get' them, though ).
hogmaw
best band I ever saw live was The Pogues in 1988 at Newcastle Uni. That was in the days when Shane McGowan could stand unaided, and could speak (almost) coherently AND had some teeth

AndrewOW
A couple of years ago some friends and I went to one of those Here and Now concerts at the Brighton Centre, featuring golden oldies such as T'Pau, Paul Young, Howard Jones, Kim Wilde, Heaven 17 etc. I know we got a little bit too tiddly during the concert, to really appreciate them properly, but my goodness were they all extremely good! I saw Edwin Starr at Brannigans in Crawley one evening years ago. He seemed like a very nice guy. Chatted to whoever was interested! EDIT: Which Jean-Michel Jarre concert did you go to, Michael? michael
EDIT: Which Jean-Michel Jarre concert did you go to, Michael? Manchester, 1993 I think - Chronologie Tour? You?
AndrewOW
Destination Docklands 1988 (for my 20th birthday), and an 'intimate' concert at Wembley Arena 1997-ish. I thought I'd been to a third concert, but then again they do all look a bit similar after a while! Very entertaining though, especially if you like fireworks
ivan
Rod Stewart back in '73. Dave Dee, Dozy, Beaky, Mick & Tich at their last ever live concert in '69. And a good few others (who I forget) at the many concerts in Poole Park back in the 70's.

heartworm
Im a little obsessive with gigs, im at the them all the time and couldn't even start to list them all down, but by far the best band ive seen live is Machine Head, seen them 8 or 9 times now and they have always been absolutly stunning, on the other hand ive seen slayer 4 or 5 times now and they are usually rather dissapointing

Pete
New Model Army were very good last night. It was the smaller venue in Wolves which made the whole thing much more intimate.
