SILKYSMOOTH
Ebay for selling cars is crap. I know its near xmas time, but I can't beleive the cheapskate/dreamers out there that want to buy my supra. I have had part exchange offers worth over £5,000, and silly cash offers upto £3,500. I guess I will wait till after xmas as I have 3 people on a waiting list that want to buy it. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/TOYOTA-SUPRA-MKIV-3-0i-N-A-AUTO-in-BLACK-LOW-MILEAGE_W0QQitemZ170165236169QQihZ007QQcategoryZ18290QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem If it was crap like alot of others out there I would understand but this car is mint compared to many I have seen

Ady
I wouldnt bother wasting ym time and money advertising her on ebay. Personaly I would use this forum and auto trader. Best of luck with the sale mate, and hope the time wasters dont get to you too much PS - I learnt after putting my calibra turbo on there, had numerous emails asking ''Can I loan the car off you for the weekend, to see how it drives ect'' - that took top spot. SILKYSMOOTH
I don't really want part exchange offers, need the extra cash for my new business. I lowered the reserve to £4250 even with 2 new rear tyres

Ady
yes mate im deadly serious - its like you get some 17 year old chavs, trying to be test polits in your pride and joy - I eventually put the ad in total cvauxhall (wich was free) and had a few calls and sold it. I think you put it on there because of there half price listings, for cars. but seriously mate its more hassle than its worth. Id stick to auto trader, forums, maybee your local rag, quids in, loot ect?

Cadburys Purple
I hate to disagree but I have sold 5 cars in the past 18 months on ebay and numerous bits and bobs and I have never had any trouble. Also everything that I have sold went for well over my reserve. So much so that I bought my Supra purely from the money I made from selling on ebay in 18 months! I love the place, because without it, I'd have no Supra!!!

You my friend have been very fortunate, sell my car then.. So it takes an average 3.6 months to sell a car?

You my friend have been very fortunate, sell my car then.. So it takes an average 3.6 months to sell a car? Ha ha!! No I completely agree that I have been lucky. My friend on the other hand has had nothing but trouble with ebay through people bidding and never paying or some never even showing up. He has always said that I am lucky but I know that one day the luck will run out and I'll be cursing the place as much as everyone else!!!
