cheekymonkey
Hi Guys I went to toyota to get a nut and washer for my steering wheel (the nut at the top of the steering column). What was on the car before was a normal nut, and a split washer. What they have given me now is an all-in-one nut with a wider, flat bottom (as if a washer is fixed to the bottom). Is it safe to use this or have I got the wrong part? Cheers James
Jake
That type is fine. Why aren't you just reusing the original one anyway?
kieren1234
I think the one he had on before was not original and what someone had just put on. Should be fine using either mate.
cheekymonkey
Cool, thanks I will use the new part. I thought they were the type of washers that had to be replaced each time - as a set came with my boss kit.
