Thorin
Help:Pling: anyone know if a US bought pentax k10d digital camera is ok to use in the uk eg voltage etc etc?? Surely you'll be using batteries in it, not plugged into the mains You might just need to buy a UK charger for it but otherwise would be fine I would think. KaoriFan
Everything should be ok, as only thing that is directly connected to the mains in the battery charger. So you will need a UK Charging unit. I would imagine same for all DSLRs, but Nikon recommends not letting batteries discharge completely. You get better life from each if you recharge them frequently, ideally at the end of each day if you take lots of frames. Normally i recharge at around 60 - 70%. When i go to China i am taking my D200 and only need to get a Charging unit compatible with Chinese mains. ja ne Ian
Soop Dogg
Take a look at the info on the charger. I know UK/European ones can be used in the US on 120V. I only ever take a plug adapter so I can use mine in the states. The sticker on the charger will tell you what input voltages it will accept whilst still giving the correct output voltage.
