miko_supra Posted November 21, 2007 Author Share Posted November 21, 2007 should have a couple of decent bits to write up tomorrow...going to install the side mount, new spark plugs, new ecu, new throttle cable and take out the old rev counter but now i'm just waiting on some parts till i can put the new engine in. these being.... tt rev counter 1st cat tt power steering reservoir inlet pipe tt airbox new flywheel bolts (i got these from mvp with the new clutch for £20 from toyota its about £80) and i've decided to go for an RPS max clutch with street disc (should have this in a couple of weeks) http://xs321.xs.to/xs321/07473/079clutch.jpg Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You dont need the dials, intercooler or ps pot to put the TT lump in. Or perhaps I should get off my lazy arse and post those bits to you. I really am tempted to do what you are doing over the winter in my unit. I love tinkering with cars and would get a lot of satisfaction out of it. Looking really good by the way. shouldn't think the dvla will charge me. it works out about £150 on top for insurance so not allot really. Ive asked this question to DVLA when i started to think about doing this. Answer: Theres no charge unless you need to replace the logbook. Edit - I have a front duct for the stock IC if you want it? I think he's been given the wrong on, it doesnt look like the one I had put aside, it looks as though the actual mounts have broken off.
