Guest skeeters
Hi all, Not being very technical minded was wondering where I could find the TRAC fuse ? I've been having the issue of the Slip Cont Off / OD off lights flashing for around the last ermmm 4 years now and as Toyota couldn't fix it thought I take a look at the basics myself ( after bringing myself to search through this forum ). So where can I find it and should that be the only problem I have is it a normal fuse to replace it ? Normal as in car fuse normal not what I'd find in a 13AMP plug TIA Skeeters..... bigbloodyturbo
The trac fuse is in the fusebox under the bonnet as far as I remember. I pulled it to see the difference in shifts from the autobox but put it back when the issue of it adding stress to the trans was raised. imi
if its a 6sp manual then you can remove it without any adverse issues (Stock TC is useless anyway). If an Auto then - not so simple.

This is correct, plus when I took the fuse out the shifts with no ignition retard where a tad sharp for everyday driving (especially when it was a bit slippy) allthough pretty good for when pushing on a bit.
