p111ddy
Where's the best place to buy a windscreen from for my 93 j-spec? There’s no damage done to mine I just cant stand the very fine scratch marks/chip's that I can see when I sit inside looking out especially on sunny days. Also what sort of price would I be looking at? Thanks, Michael

Guest GAZ 77
Just been here myself, cracked it removing it for my respray! Phoned my mate who works for RAC Autowindscreens to ask for a price. He phoned me back and told me to sit down!! Retail from RAC was £1200 but he could get me onefor £250 plus the dreaded. My mate said just out of interest to try Toyota and fook me i couldn't believ the difference. I'm in the trade so had it slightly cheaper but came in at £135 plus vat. Can't fault that and has now taught me to try Mr T in the first placenow!!
razza
Don’t windscreen replacements affect your n/claims? not as far as I'm aware, I need this too as I've got loads of tiny little chips all over the screen. Might get it down whilst it's at Toyota GT

supra steveo
no if you smash a window you call autoglass or some where ask if they deal with your insurance company tell them the excess is £50 and give them the cash after they are done ive had to do this twice to other cars, my front screen on my 1st car (seat ibiza) and my last car for the rear window (206 GTi)
Havard
I found a crack in mine! Rang AON who I'm insured with, £40 and Auto Windscreens came out and sorted everything!! Obviously I would encourage anyone to damage their windscreen deliberately and then claim off the insurance though!! H.
ilicos
I am in the situation where I have a nice crack in my winscreen but can't claim as I only insured the car TPFT. I am going to call Mr T but what do I do about a decent trusworthy fitter? Cheers, Ilias
Jamesy
get one from someone breaking their supra mate
ilicos
get one from someone breaking their supra mate I will give that a try also, cheers. But if its only £175 odd from Mr T I might prefer to get a new one. My biggest problem is getting it safely fitted
