SILKYSMOOTH
I always put in Shell Vpower and was around 102. something for a while the last couple of months it has hot up to 106.9 I once used a super unleaded fuel at BP (the one they use for formula 1 cars) for the Supra, the price was astronomical, they even gave me brochure and membership pack when I walked out the garage...crazy! I only put £25 in and it didnt even fill 1/4 tank. It was about 237 or something stupid
MONKEYmark
cant understand how its gone this bad.i find running a standard basic 2liter car is bad enough seem to be forever in garage putting petrol in.surely the idea of boycotting the big 2 companies would have and effect but saying that labour is making most money out of us all.we are having to work harder and harder to pay more out.just seems like they pushing and pushing and some more. get em out
lexsum
does not matter who is the government as they have the same policies and very little money to play with. a massive percentage of the work force are employed by the government and this must be paid for by you. it sucks but there you go. no one wanted to make anything any more (or get dirty) and no one wants to work for minimum wage when you get your rent paid if you don't and 7 days a week to enjoy yourself watching that kyle bloke and laughing at your peers on tv. people hate immigration but at least imported workers will work unlike the lazy disability living allowance generation who made themselves sick (via drink/drugs) and then get extra money for their efforts. the answer to the petrol point is: don't drive. Ewen
Treasury will make '£25 billion' from fuel duty this year aparently. A recent survey quoted in the papers today alledges that 15% of commuters would pay up to £13.65 a gallon rather than use public transport (31% would rather pay up to £9.10 a gallon and the majority up to £8.33 a gallon). Figures like this are bound to make the Treasury smile.
