johnnyknox
WTF is a yam?? And why is it in you're avatar. Its original i suppose. Yam is the common name for some species in the genus Dioscorea (family Dioscoreaceae). These are perennial herbaceous vines cultivated for the consumption of their starchy tubers in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Oceania. They are used in a fashion similar to potatoes and sweet potatoes. There are hundreds of cultivars among the cultivated species. The word yam comes from Portuguese inhame or Spanish ñame, which both ultimately derive from the Wolof word nyam, meaning "to sample" or "taste", in other African languages it can also mean "to eat" e.g. yamyam and nyama in Hausa.[1] Yam tubers can grow up to 2.5 meters in length[2] and weigh up to 70 kg (150 pounds). The vegetable has a rough skin which is difficult to peel, but which softens after heating. The skins vary in color from dark brown to light pink. SupraStar 3000
Jspec Germany (Mike) flys long hours patroling our skys looking for the bad guys. He takes a Yam with him to 'entertain himself' on those long and boring missions. Mike would take a dildo, but he'd have a hard time explaining that to his flight commander. The Yam is perfect as when inside his lunchbox nobody will know its alturnative use. Thats about right isnt it Mike?

Jspec Germany
Taste good with butter/salt/pepper, or with brown sugar. Also makes a good weapon if you don't have your trusty bow staff with you.

Charlotte
So do I, but the last thing I need right now is more sugar. Perhaps just have the cake without the icing bit? Although, that kind of is the best bit. Why are they called cupcakes?

Jspec Germany
I don't know Charlotte, but you're not helping my OCD. If you have a sweettooth, search the recipe: Candied Yams, or Sweet Potato Pie. I also make a sweet potato cassarole with brown sugar, marshmellows, walnuts, and rum. It's like sex, only messier to eat with your hands.

I don't really like a lot of sweet things - just cupcakes and more specifically butter icing. I'm not keen on nuts either so walnuts aren't really getting me going.
