Jurgen, seriously... Please go to CoCoichiban and order that for yourself. Write it down so you don't forget. Then, right after you eat it, log on to the forum while still in the restaurant (I'm sure there's broadband wireless there as it seems to be everywhere else in Japan), and tell me what you thought. Then, buy 3 packets of the stuff and send it to me.... with one of your famed T51R supras.

must be as this is a vin from an r35 gtr, it is still an R35

So, publicly, Nissan don't seem to want to have it known as an R35 then.

I can see their point. They are after the 911 market and GT-R sound like a fresh start rather than the latest in a series of cars that may (or may not) have a baggage (negative image) attached.

Yeah. Shame people can't let them move on.

It'll be the same when the new Toyota thing comes out. That'll get tarred with the Supra brush by people who just can't move on.

and why not....its makes perfect sense as the R32, 33, 34 has such a massive following and the market for the r35 will be just as big

If its a totally different name the R following might not have the same interest in the car ;)
