filling clutch fluid

Ive done a wee search and couldnt really come up with much. Ive just fitted a master and slave cylinder for the clutch. They contained no fluid. When i fill the resevoir, the pedal doesnt seem to draw the fluid through the system. Bleed nipple on slave is open. Clutch pedal falls staight to floor.

Any ideas?

Top up the clutch master cylinder reservoir and top up when necessary

Put a clear plastic tube on the bleeder nipple and submerge the end of the tube in a jar with some clutch hydraulic fluid.

Slowly depress the clutch pedal.

SLIGHTLY loosen the bleeder nipple.

While fluid is traveling through the tube, tighten the bleeder BEFORE the pedal is fully depressed.

Release pedal.

Repeat procedure until it's done.
