how do you calculate the size of a wis nozzle?

thanks alex,

it is realy funny, "everybody" runs a wis but nobody knows how to calculate the correct amount of water and the correct nozzle. :D

I think there must be a standard value of a reference temp of charged air measured before the throttle body. everything above this temp must be cooling down. but there must be a formula to calculate that. if you have the correct ammount of water it should be possible to calculate the correct nozzle.

It's not just the nozzle size that matters, but the pump can be programmed to deliver different amounts of water, if I remember correctly. When I had the GT4, the WI was controlled by the auxilliary map in the Motec EMS, and was dependant on boost etc. Best to check with ERL or CW. Let us know what you find :cool:

Most of the systems us guys have, only use a single rate pump. I know Aquamist do a more advanced mapable system but it doesn't tend to be quite so popular.
