Sted
My missus has just bought an Audi A3 and wants to get a leather gear knob. She has rung Audi and they are over 100 quid (excessive I think!!). Does anyone know of any breakers that have audi's or any specialist breakers that deal with Audi's? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated I've tried local breakers round here but none seem to have any Audi's in.

Pabs
i can confirm that the dealer prices for things such as leather or "sports" gearknobs for all VAG cars are expensive - the SEAT one I have was listed at £85. However - maybe one thing for you to try, but only a suggestion - you MAY find that VW/SEAT/SKODA make a decent knob that'll fit the audi because of the same platform, and you'll also find that they'll be a fair bit cheaper than from Audi. Sounds nuts - but listen to this - the SEAT Altea and Leon both have identical gearknobs - but the Leon version is £25 more than the Altea one! And they are identical! steb9780
Hi Ste, try and find the number for Volks world in Preston mate, they do all things VAG. They are cheap usually. If not I remember seeing Euro parts or Euro car parts or something in mags in the past. They always looked pretty cheap on bits too. Other than that maybe EGay Germany might be cheaper than here.
