VIL
How excited am I Just got my tickets through to see W.A.S.P. tomorrow at Astoria! Yea, I know this is 80's 90's rock (and I am sure some people will say they are rubbish) but when I was 16 I loved them. I hope that 18 years on they are still as good and outrageous as I remember them!!!

Chewie
W.A.S.P. were top. You can't beat those old 80s metal bands even though they're all grandads. Off to see the Heaven n Hell on 13th Nov @ NEC.

VIL
May have to go and buy a CD tomorrow!! I used to like Love Machine and Sleeping in the Fire!! H. If you do, go and look for the latest duel release albums, WASP & Last Command are on one CD set and Headless Children & Inside the Electric Circus are on another, plus there is also The Best of the Best if you just want a CD of the main popular release stuff. Animal
Warlock were a good band. Saw them supporting Dio in '88. Seen W.A.S.P a few times. This month I'm going to watch Dream Theater on the 11th and then the "Black Crusade Tour" with Trivium, Dragonforce, Arch Enemy & Machine Head on the 21st! Can't wait for that one... Dio...now that is a blast from the past... They where not really my cup of tea, too many 'dragons, goblins and wizards' reminded me too much of Spinal Tap!! Although I did like a mixed bag of metal, WASP, Metallica, Motley Crue, Anthrax, Slayer, Zeppelin (of course), G'n'R, AC/DC, Sabbeth and ......... yes Poison.... (I know what the comments will be but I did like them!!!)
Animal
That Dio gig was ace - they had their full stage show including the giant mechanical dragon! I got brought up on the likes of Dio, Iron Maiden & Saxon so I'm quite at home with cheesy rock.

Animal
Live In The Raw has got to be one of the best live albums I've heard. It ranks alongside Live After Death for capturing the energy & sound af a top notch band.

Yea, that is one thing that wont be the same...the absence of Chris Holmes. Still, fingers crossed for a brilliant night...its the 7th gig in a 41 gig European Tour so hopefully they are warmed up and not yet worn out!
