Guest paul christie
Yahoo! My car was found, can you beleive in Aberdeen parked at the side of the road un-touched, empty of fuel and not even a fingerprint on her...really weird. Its in the garage now being checked over but I did drive it home last night after the police did the CSI bit. Thanks to you all for your kind and thoughtfull comments and for searching, Im sure this contributed to "them" dumping it. I did not have any fancy alarm fitted bowever my plans today are to find a supplier of new ignition/door locks and to source a cat 1 alarm. Ill have to get one for my sons car to as they broke into that to clear the drive. All that risk to just drive a supra for 100 miles.... and leave at the side of the road, not even a note of thanks. Thanks again to everyone Paul

kieren1234
Amazing news mate, must admit thats the complete opposite of the outcome i though was going to happen. Good luck, and get that alarm sorted, opne with proximity sensors might be an idea to scare them off if they come close to it.

juanchan
That's great news! First thing I did after buying my Supra was book her in for a decent alarm - get it sorted asap! Can I ask who found her? One of my mates had a van nicked, then found it himself a couple of hundred miles away when he was in Weymouth (he lived in the Midlands at the time). The police and insurance people thought he was trying to scam them!

AlanM
Delighted for you Paul. Think twice about getting alarm with proximity sensors, people (and not just wee kids) think it funny to keep them going off all the time till your battery is flat

jamesmark
Great news, as said before get a CAT1 and proximity alarm too, still no guarantee not to be nicked though. It could be a pain in the ass to sell when that time comes, as the car could be registered as stolen/recovered.
