hoff
What will you replace them with? Are you sure you cant use a small spacer like wayne suggested?
RobSheffield
Rob ...... no no no and NO again , hang onto em you'll be sorry when there gone . Quite probably! What will you replace them with? As yet i dont know, i did have 4 options of wheels that would fit my new brakes... http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=129430 I now have about 20 options! Performance car and spacer REALLY dont go imo, besides, the large Brembo kit is a bit beyond spacers on these wheels. Fine on UK spec brakes, but wont be on the Brembos. RobSheffield
It is important to note (i had written this into the original advert) that i am lowered on HKS hipermax coilovers and so found it necessary to remove some of the rear wheelarch stiffening rib. Some garages may say totally remove it, some may suggest to roll it. It is not practical to roll the arch as it will require straightening and filling, and fully removing the stiffener is also inadvisable.
Guest Nicholas
Why would you want really big brambo brakes I hear they're rubbish

I figured the performance of the spacers were the main factor in not using them.
jkr46
do you reckon they would fit straight in with stock suspension?
RobSheffield
do you reckon they would fit straight in with stock suspension? I am not sure mate, only ever had them fitted on my lowered car. Id suggest they might fit, but would possibly catch during cornering. Several brands of 19" wheels catch the lip on the rear wheelarch, so if you do want 19" wheels its going to be the same.
SupraPL
Absolutely best rims for Vette. http://img119.imageshack.us/img119/1125/rqzzmhav5.jpg Don't sell them Rob, you will regret.
jkr46
so is it the diameter of the wheel that causes the problem? not the width? i assumed it was the width, i've got 19's on mine currently and there fine. JR
RobSheffield
Sorry, yes to clarify its the width of them that requires that rib partially removing.

RobSheffield
After having a really good look at these, im not totally sure they need the rib cutting. I suppose you could fit them and if any issues cropped up then get it sorted as and when. Still available
