Glosphil
I'd be temped by this, been thinking about getting one. I'm still thinking about my single upgrade, but buying a new house has put that on hold for now. I was thinking I could put one of these in, and keep it as it is for now (BPU) and then add a PHR fuel kit, then the single turbo. Will this ecu handle all this, with stock tubbies and a fuel kit etc? Do you have any maps for it? Thanks
michel lane
Putting one of these Piggy back ECU on a BPU+ car will benefit it as it would iron out the rich spots on a stock unit running 1.1 /1.2 bar. You would need to get it on a set of roller for fine tuning work. It is a good stepping stone for a small single in the future.

Glosphil
What kind of small single? would it run a phr stage 1 or 2? and the PHR fuel kit?
michel lane
This would run kits up to 600hp, it came of my aristo on a single . The reason why i changed it was the new owner wanted an AEM fitted for anti lag and all the other features. It can never be as good as a full stand alone , but it will allow you to get more power then the stock ECU especially if you change the injectors sizes. I have 2 units , one which iam keeping for my MK11 aristo , iam only looking at 500hp with this.
imi
Michel...is this still available? Can it deal with ignition timing, etc? in addition to leaning out the fuel at rich spots?

Joeatphr
What kind of small single? would it run a phr stage 1 or 2? and the PHR fuel kit? It will handle any fuel system that you throw at it! We have used the MAP ECU to tune up to 1000cc injectors, it was a bit of a challange but is possible. For what you're wanting there is nothing to worry about! Cheers, Joe
