Supra Ems
Hi! I just joined today! I got my first Supra on Friday and haven't stopped grinning since! I'm new to the whole scene, having previously owned and restored a (classic) Mini Cooper. Am really looking forward to driving a car with a little more horsepower though! Have had a quick look through the site - your cars look amazing! Emm x
RobSheffield
Welcome I used to have an old mini, but not actually a cooper
Jake
I love minis! I've had loads of them; 850, 998, 1275, pickups, vans. Been all over france in them too. Great cars. Apart from that silly little rubber water hose that goes between the head and the block - bastard thing.

juanchan
What Supra did you go for then? NA/TT? Aero? Auto/Spanish? Welcome to the club! I've had my Supra just coming up a year and the smile is still as wide as ever when I get behind the wheel!
Supra Ems
I got the SZ-R 6 speed manual. It's an import so as I'm unable to learn Japanese really quick, I'm unable to tell if it's had a cambelt change, but it's going to have that done this week hopefully It's not been modded in any way which I actually like, 'cause at least I know where I stand with it. I'll hopefully start adding bits at a time slowly (funds permitting)! Does anyone know if there is any difference in performance between the SZ and SZ-R? I'm finding it really hard to get much information on this model.
Havard
Welcome Emm! There shouldn't be any performance advantage in the S-ZR as far as I know. H.
juanchan
Have a look here for model differences. There's a lot of variants and no-one really seems to know the exact spec list that was available for each model. Performance wise, I believe they are the same - same chassis, same engine. Sensible idea getting the cambelt done too. Did you have it imported or was it already in the country? I was the same when I was looking - I wanted a mostly unmolested car so I knew where I stood. I've resisted the modding bug so far, but there's a few things on my wish list before I even think about making her any faster than she already is! Glad you're enjoying her and here's to a dry(ish) winter!
Supra Ems
The car was here already but not registered yet so I'm the first UK owner. I'll probably look at a decent stereo first! I've ordered a wavelength expander so I can hopefully pick up more than classic fm! Exhaust and alloys would probably be next on my wish list... (and it begins...) Before I bought this car I was hoping for one with a fat bodykit but apart from the insurance nightmare, I don't think it would get up my drive without ripping it off! Supra Ems
Yeah I did get that one! Haven't heard it before though! It's having the cambelt changed today - am back to driving my boyfriend's mini... (He's got an Impreza but he won't trust me with it!) Does anyone know if the cambelt for the N/A is the same as the TT?
