Tee from China
Anyone else have/had problem using the search facility? Tried searching and used 4 words but got a message saying I had used less than the minimum 3 words! I added more words till I had 6 or more but each time I got the same message! This has happened before and I thought it was me but now seems strange to happen yet again:rolleyes: Maybe a moderator can explain to me what I'm doing wrong:innocent:
Ian W
likely that your words don't have enough letters in them mate. which words were you using?
Nic
ATried searching and used 4 words but got a message saying I had used less than the minimum 3 words! I think you miss read the message, you used a word with less than 3 letters, not a search with less than 3 words. http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/2095/picture1eo0.png
Tee from China
I think you miss read the message, you used a word with less than 3 letters, not a search with less than 3 words. http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/2095/picture1eo0.png Thanks Nic, did misread that message, but the other words I used had more than three letters in but still got the same message.I even changed the three letter ones into full words without any success! will try again :-(

Tee from China
I think you miss read the message, you used a word with less than 3 letters, not a search with less than 3 words. http://img117.imageshack.us/img117/2095/picture1eo0.png Sorry Nic re read and you are saying the opposite to the message - it says word not letters! Have just typed in nine words and still got the same message!

Homer
rediculous. when everyone posts up with na and tt all the time its impossible to search for allot of threads. GRRRR If it's changed to index two letter words it would probably have a serious impact on forum performance. I'm sure Mawby can clarify. RobSheffield
I think last time it was changed to 2 words it nearly died, isnt that what happened to SF.com?
