Ewen
My wifes 52 today:( What do you reckon. Keep her as a high maintenance classic, lardy handling and smells of leather...or go for a lower mileage sporty number with plastic upholstery that may kill me if she goes too fast. ivan
Happy Birthday Jane. Ewen, I'll have you know 1955 is a very good vintage. (but you could probable get 2x26 year olds for the same outlay)
juanchan
Happy birthday to the little lady! Could you keep her as a weekend driver only? Get a sporty little number for during the week?
Animal
I'd do it the other way round if it were me - keep the old faithful during the week and get something fast to play with at the weekend. We're all gonna get a good kicking aren't we? In which case, maybe take a week off work, strip her down and give her a damn good servicing so she'll be good for another 10 years. SupraStar 3000
Hows is she on the "underside"? Much wear? Wax oil might help you Ewen. I hear it helps with the older models. Giver her a good spray with the jet-wash and get inside all those nooks and crannies. If shes dropping straw coloured liquid on the garage floor and in the bedroom she may need new seals. 1950's seals need replacing regularly Might help to post up some pictures and let our experts give you an unbiased opinion. Happy Birthday Jane. xxxxx
Animal
At least he can't take her to TF - she'd come back with bits of broomstick stuck up her...

Ewen
:dHer front seals gone, laughing at the replies possibly. The broom handle needed explaining though.
