badtoy
I installed 2 years ago the flex-a-lite Electric Fan Conversion from mvp. I was very happy until 2 months ago. the fans start to get weak. last year they soak like hell I tested that in front of the fmic with a piece of paper, the paper flows direct at the fmic and stick on it. today it is like a weak wind the paper drops at the ground. I already cleaned the radiator and the fmic without success, after that I disconnected the fans from the relay and reconnected them direct at the battery again without success. Is it possible that they get weak?
Keith C
Sounds like the motor on the fans has eaither got clogged up, or is wearing out. Are you able to take them apart to look inside? Might be worth a try. Cheers
Guest Martin F
Did you connect the ground straight to the battery as well ? This really sounds like a poor ground problem. It's quite unlikely the fans would become weak all of a sudden more likely to fail if anything. Some good news is that all the parts for these fans are available through Flex-a-Lite's distributor Summit racing in the US. AMHIK
