:rlol: shame they havent got a clue isnt it, what mods, flashing light, furry dice :D

Wouldn't it depend on the Police man? The ones I know who drive for a living know a hell of a lot more than most. The people you are talking to are local crime prevention lads NOT traffic police.

OMFG.... I'm so glad our tax money is put to good use. Or is it the SCAMeras that are generating the necessary revenues??!?

/rant

Most cars such as the Lotus will have been lent to the Police by the manufacturers. The Police do not spend any money. My father has been involved in the past in a similar scheme in Yorkshire but with Freelanders.

And the Police wonder why there is an all time poor public perception of them.

Your rant is just another example of the public speaking when they don't know all the facts.

What annoys me with all this promotional crud the police are doing is the two-faced approach.

On the one hand we have the 'Speed Kills' crusade, Cameras all over the country, little effort made to crack down on genuinely dodgy motorists due to no traffic Police anymore and then on the other hand we have the '140 mph Lotus Elise' in Police livery.

Glorifying speed? Surely not! :innocent:

If the BiB want to practise what their Political Masters preach, then surely they shoud be tootling 'round in a marked Prius at 30 MpH. :D
