wrenlea Posted October 26, 2007 Share Posted October 26, 2007 I have one I agree with the above, however on a cold morning when the revs go up on first start it is anything but "silent" compared to the stock exhaust. I always back up on to the drive now so I can make a speedy getaway in the morning Still, it was a necessary part of bpu and aside from this it sounds great. It sounds just like stock when decatted,but gives of a nice note when 2nd tubby is on:) I'm now running a Zorst Exhaust,rather louder than the HKS,but better performance IMO. I like you had the same qualms, normally have to start the car at 6am, sometimes even at weekends to go to work. It's lovely, idle it's quiet, maintaining speed on motorway it doesn't drill into your cortex and it does give a nice sound when going for it... I haven't seen it but the MOT mechanic says I have excessive play in the upper nearside suspension arm on the rear suspension. So it needs replacing, I resent that metality. Not like my BPU 6sp double decat mad bas!@rd with straight through 5zigen fireball exhaust.
