MarkR Posted October 25, 2007 Share Posted October 25, 2007 It's the same gearbox as the auto but you change gears on the steering wheel. I never drive mine in auto mode, only in manual as it gives me the option to gear down into corners. If I had it over I'd go manual, but only cos I like to feel like I'm doing the driving... The Tiptronic is very good though although the changes aren't really quick enough if your foots flat down, so if I'm dragging, I'll leave it in manual and then I find I have the upper hand in gear changes over the manuals.
