fri3ndly
Well its that time of the year, just wondering how much everyone is going to be spending on Fireworks this year and what theyre doing? I tend to only have a small gathering with some good friends, so I will probably only get about £50 of rockets:sly:

fri3ndly
Hmmmm am I the only person who gets a thrill from setting rockets alight and watching them explode from a distance? Ofcourse I would have to oblige when it comes to the bonfire too ;-)
jim_supra
Why do all men like burning stuff?! I can't really give you any decent answer to that. Other than it's lots of fun.
fri3ndly
I can't really give you any decent answer to that. Other than it's lots of fun. I think its more destroying things in general which we like, whether it be something going up in flames or smashing it into a million pieces with a sledge hammer
paul_y3k
prolly aboug 600 this time. i have a massive thing for fworks. Basically my mum fell into a fire aged 8 in a nylon nightie, massive burns and gneral stay away from anything fire attitude. So all I ever got to do on the 5th, was watch them from my bedroom window. Once I got to 18 I bought a small box, then next year a bigger box and it's gone on from there. My friend has a massive garden, and we buy the best rockets we can get. johnnyknox
ok, maybe not banned... but down my way it could have been the 5th of November the last few nights. It's bloody annoying at 1am and they are still going off
dangerous brain
They are banned here in Holland for all but about 14 hours in the year. It then turns into hell on earth here with more phosphorous than air Its quite spectacular at midnight when they pretty much close all the roads and put a years supply of boom out on the road and let it off out the fronts of their houses. AndrewOW
Ban the f*cking things and then throw the chav-scum who buy them in prison. well maybe not so extreme, but they do scare my dog I won't be spending anything on fireworks, but as we had a load of trees taken down in our garden a couple of months ago, we're going to have one mother of a bonfire! Its about 15ft high at the moment, with lots more to go on it. I just hope it doesn't take the house with it!
