Terminator
Awkward little bugger isn't it!!! It tried to get it out last night (cold) but the hoses just don't want to come off. Or do I have to get physical, I don't want to bust anything. Any tips for easy removal would be appreciated.
Barry
Stanley knife.! or move the clips, get some grippers and twist the pipes until they brake loose. Its all on quite tight so a bit of force is required. I keep meaning to do mine but need to find something to block the hoses off with. What are you going to use?? I will be using rubber blanks, when it stays off.
Nic
Phil When I watch the garage fit mine they used a silicon lubricant spray to help get the hoses off/on. They used a flated headed screw driver to lever one edge of the hose open a little, then sprayed some of the lubricant in.
Guest Martin F
As Barry says, use some pliers to twist the pipe and break the seal first. If still stiff you can use an appropriate size spanner to push the pipe off.
Terminator
Thanks for the help guys. All done just a twist and they were not too bad to get off. I was just worried about splitting a hose.
