TARIQ
Why does the back end go on the Supra's so easily? compared to other rear wheel drive car's.

hogmaw
Most people complain of the sudden kick of the 2nd turbo more than anything else causing the back end to step out. Not sure if that's just an excuse or not
Tricky-Ricky
Any rear wheel drive car with a decent amount of power will go sideways easily given the wrong conditions and an inexperienced driver.

Bob
crap / worn / wrong-sized rear tyres, bad geometry, aging suspension components that could do with being replaced, bad driving, wrong sizing of wheels; the list goes on.
TARIQ
It's got Yokohama's 19's 295x30,when i bought the car it had pirelli's 275x30.Just recently got whifbitz to put on front and rear TRD antiroll bars, what a diffrence it made to the ride and handling of the car! just driving on the motorway back up north. TARIQ
I asked the qustion because their is alot of people post when "raining" or a "damp morning" be carefull, and because the "winter" is comeing in. It sound's like their is alot of carefull drivers in the club. Even in the dry the back end can go on a Supra,it go's more than other powefull cars. hoff
Any rear wheel drive car can catch you out. With a lack of experiance I spun mine (na auto) in the wet at 40mph, and could make it step in the dry with a good kick down. Now I have more experiance Ive had no problems in the wet. And now i have better tyres, I cant even get it to stepout when I want it to. Obviously the TT has greater power etc so I cant comment, not having driven one really, but thats my NA experiance;)

Bobbeh
If you watch top gears original review of a UK spec Supra he (Tiff) says the rear end is very stable and well planted.. so something along the way has gone very strange with yours Do you have an LSD? hoff
Thats true. Also what tyres do you have, what condition are they and what size are they? Mine came with 235/45/17 rears and since putting 19's on and therefore having 265 wide rear tyres the arse is firmly planted.
