Guest Jarl Ayari
Hi Guys, The paint on my car isnt looking as shiny as it should. what do you all recommend for a storm blue car? Just how shiny can I expect to get it? Andi
DannoSupra
We use AutoSmart Products at Work... Top Stuff There's R6(gritty), R3(mild grit), R2(no grit), R1 and Evo Fine (both finishing) Then you could use their Canubra Gold Wax or Platinum Polish
Daston
Not sure on polish (never used it) however for waxes Dodo Juice is bloody good
DannoSupra
If you do get your hands on AutoSmart stuff... i recomend that you go over the car with R2, wipe it off, and then a good polish! Should bring it up Gleaming.... Use R2 as you'd use polish

michael
ahh I didnt relise it was a one or the other. It isn't, ignore him. His earlier post talks about polishing with various compounds and then waxing, then suddenly he's ruining the finish with a sponge and chamois, mixed up. TonyP
I'd get a full Meguires kit. Inc clay bar and "scratch x" Clay bar makes huge difference. I didn't get on very well with the ScatchX though. It was really difficult to get it off the car.
