As far as i can tell the engine in my Supra doesn't have an aftermarket dump valve yet i get a small woosh when i change gear after being on boost. Is this normal? juanchan Posted October 23, 2007 Share Posted October 23, 2007 Sounds like it's either an aftermarket dump valve or a previous owner has re-plumbed the stock one to dump to atmosphere. Scott =op That is the reason, same if you have a turbo car and take off the top cover of the airbox, it will dump. And you may want to read some reviews on the HKS filters mate. The wierd thing is that i don't get a dump noise off the MR2 with an induction kit on, just induction roar. Saying that, the exhaust would deafen you so i guess thats why i don't hear it lol.
