Mrs H
I wasn't going to share this experience but the more I think about it the angrier I get! I was coming home from the gym a couple of days ago, sat in traffic minding my own business when I noticed a black astra pulling out of a side street on the opposite side of the road, the two occupants were looking at the supra but I didn't pay it much attention, then as they passed me, going in the opposite direction, the driver leaned out of his window and called me a sl@g! WTF! At first I was just stunned but now I'm fuming, why do some people think it is amusing to personally insult someone just because of the car they are driving? Has anyone else experienced something similar or am I just unlucky? Rant over! Vicki x
Jake
why do some people think it is amusing to personally insult someone just because of the car they are driving? You're assuming it was because of the car you were driving? Perhaps it was something else?

jamesmark
Please elaborate I'm not sure what point you are making? Vicki x Seriously it is really not that hard to work out , and it does NOT involve you being a female or anything seedy (I don't know you, so can't and won't judge). Jake
Thanks for the support:(Sorry, I didn't realise you were looking for support. I thought you were asking why this might have happened and I merely questioned an assumption you had made. Their are lots of reasons somebody might insult you on the road (I'm not saying they are valid reasons) but you seem to think you know the specific reason for this particular incident. Pulls into the carpark and waits on 2 girls pulling out of a space, as they pull buy her one of them shouts "smug bitch" Of course the missus just laughs it off and thinks that yes she is a smug bitch driving a Supra to Tescos and not the beaten up saxo the 2 girls were in Just laugh it off Vicki, scum like that are not worth the rise in blood pressure
Havard
Beats me mate. Seems quite straightforward. Perhaps this was supposed to be a "THERE JUST JELOUS COZ U DRIVE A SUPRA!!!" thread? I have read this thread twice Jake and still don't understand what you are trying to say..... Your first post is very suggestive. My missus encounters two complete strangers who give her abuse while she's stationary in traffic and you say "maybe it was something else?". Please enlighten me as I obviosly do not have the mental capacity to understand this!! My missus was out in our old supra picking up some shopping from the local tescos. You don't speak to people like that! Hope they open their big mouths to someone a little more violent next time!! H.

Good job H was not in the car or I can see him going ape and spinning the sup round to give chase. Cadburys Purple
Hey Vicky, Just ignore the little chav's. Anyone who shouts abuse at someone for absolutly no reason isn't worth giving a second thought. For them it was probably a highlight in their sad, pathetic, pointless little lives:rolleyes: Chin up and don't let the little pricks get to you;)
