Thorin
just wondering wether there is a US spec supra? or is it just a J spec supra in left hand drive? The US Spec supra was closer to a LHD UK Spec.
gannon888
so they didnt do a non turbo then?
Guest Nicholas
iirc the US guys also never had gunmetal supra's or a face lift model. They are also mainly 6 speed aerotop tt's in LHD
fishman
did they have a TT6 Aerotop aswell?

Gazboy
Didn't they get virtually every combination except VVTi?
Jspec Germany
All.... Almost all are TT 6spd Aerotops... or used to be. There are plenty of NAs as well. Like a Jspec NA but LHD. VVti I think was non-US only but there are a bunch of VVti's in the states if that makes sense.
gannon888
if say a french person wanted a supra then, would they have to import a us spec to go lhd

tooquicktostop
The US spec Supras always give much bigger BHP gains for the same modifications
Guigsy
i hear almost 2000bhp with an induction kit
Jspec Germany
LMAO... must be the downhill drag strips that make them go so fast? Or maybe the fuel is better... Surely the dyno's are reading high... NO wait... I forgot... That 228.7 mph run was a total farse. Anything will go fast if you throw enough money at it.
