Grazer
My canon bjc6000 has dies (5yr old) and I need a cheap replacement. The only thing I print out that needs to be ok is DVD covers (for when I backup the DVDs that I have bought ) Other than that it's just text that I print. I saw this for £40 , but I really have no clue about printers. Any suggestions welcome.
Homer
Epson Stylus are reasonable printers, though at that price its probably going to come with a an introductory inject cartridge (i.e. 20% full), so you'll need to spend up to £30 on a new cartridge before long. Also Epson (and some other manufacturers) have some dodgy drivers that stop you being able to print when the cartridge reaches a certain level, even though the thing isn't empty! Personally I'd go for HP kit every time, cartridges are about the same price but they tend to last longer than the rest. ... the fact that I work for HP has nothing to do with this advice, I deal with literally thousands of different printers and HP ones are some of the most reliable for the low end OR very high end prices
