hadyn
Help!! My father unfortunately has managed to break off the expansion tank outlet plastic bit on the rad neck that the rubber pipe attaches to that goes to the expansion tank Ive managed to put a smaller diameter metal pipe into the hole that runs into the rad neck. Ive secured this and fed it into the expansion tank hose. Will this work OK? Will it be safe? Any ideas?
hadyn
Also is it possible to safely superglue the broken outlet pipe on?
colsoop
You might be able to get away with an epoxy resin but i would keep a real close eye on it. And look in to getting a replacement.
hadyn
Just bought some metal epoxy stuff. Resists temps upto 150 degrees. That should do the job shouldnt it?
