Jake
I've been on the Surrey Rolling Road Day today and I'm a bit concerned about the A/F ratio printout I got. It seems to show figures of: 11.0 at 3100 rpm (0.7 bar) falling to 10.0 at 3800 rpm (0.6 bar) then pretty much staying at 10.00 all the way 8000rpm (1.0 bar, very slight AFR blip at about 4000rpm) Apart from the fact that I'm not exactly thrilled about them revving the arse off my car (chart seems to indicate 8000rpm ) these AFR figure seem very rich don't they? I'm not convinced they're accurate but I'm not sure how to check it. Any thoughts? Thanks
Guest slow dog
the little blip will be were the map changes for the second turbo and when they rolling road your car thats what they do they rev your car they cant do it on idle mate come on
Jake
Originally posted by slow dog the little blip will be were the map changes for the second turbo Hi Paul Yeah, I assumed it was due to that, I was more concerned about it running rich. when they rolling road your car thats what they do they rev your car they cant do it on idle mate come on yeah I suppose you're right. 8000rpm is rather more than I usually rev it though. I don't think it's ever done 7000rpm before. (Apart from that time at Santa Pod when I forgot it was in MANU mode and revved the arse off it in first ) http://www.mpaconsultancy.co.uk/iamstupid.gif

My car, with the stock turbo's had an AFR of 10.4 at 6500rpm at 1.3 bar!!! - Unless I'd seen it, I wouldn't have though it was possible Still, easy way to lean it off.... Turn the boost up!
