Have just found £80 worth of fraudulent transactions using my debit card, one in Glasgow?(i live in Warwick), i have only used the card at Tescos or petrol stations etc, so it has prob been cloned, transactions were made using card and signature!!, so much for chip and pin security, bank cover t, however there may be more to go out, these transactions happened on Tuesday, so they have had Wed, Thu, Fri i still have my bank card it was never lost etc!!

This is the reason I always use a credit card. I don't care if someone clones it - it's not my money that's being stolen.

 

There was £400 charged on my credit card at T-mobile that wasn't me. It took the card company nine months to sort it out after threatening me with court action, putting my account into arrears and calling me a thief at one point. :( Dicks.

You were unlucky. My credit card company refunded me in about 4 weeks.

happend to my dad last year, went to asda, 2hours later had a phone call from HSBC bank saying they think something is going on, £500 had been spent in scottland and irland £200 in irland, bank refunded the charges and blocked the card straight away.

 

it's them bloody jimmpo's that do it.
