Charlotte
Thanks:) if only those huskily spoken words had had come from a certain other female.... How did you know I have a cold? She'll get used to it. Perhaps cook a meal or something - suggest a little drinking, dancing in the lounge etc, who could resist?

Ewen
Tis a nice watch. Whilst we are talking about watches, does anyone know what those watches are called (the make). The number dont go 1, 2, 3 , 4 on the face , they are mundled up, but when the hour comes, the hour hand jumps round to the next number wherever it is on the face??? they are extrememly expensive. The only one that I've come across (on the net that is) like that is a Vincent Calabrese. Ludicrously expensive, ludicrously silly. Heres a site with some wierd watches:) http://zorigami.free.fr/odd_watches/
Ewen
Perhaps if he was dressed in some kind of Halloween outfit? Fraid its going to take more 'Romancing the Stone heart' than I have the stomach for. A Jane fire is best dealt with by covering with a damp tea towel and leaving well alone until its cooled down. Dancing ? In company, she dislikes having her ear pressed close to my belly and at home its bad for my knees.

ivan
About time you put yourself first for a change Ewen. Next step is to tell Jane to get back to work if she wants any more hols. But I bet she's going to make you sorry you kept quiet about the savings account....
