RedM
I used to keep embarrassing a bloke with a Cooper Works S in our village. He's now bought a Clio V6 Sport. It looks propa Max Power. I had to laugh when I saw it. Even funnier, he saw me laughing at it. I'm imagining it'll be quick in the twisties but beatable on a proper roads. Ewen
Are those the ones that make a really nice noise at around 5000 rpm ?

slow_matt
It would be quick in the twisties until it gets binned. Check out piston heads and autotrader and count the number of them that are Cat C-D write offs! Driving quickly or so I've read is like lighting a fuse wire, it's a case of when not if it goes wrong! DrivingTheDream
I've heard there a handful in the twisties espcially the first model. You'd probably also do him on them
Wez
I really like these, a mate had one as his company car. A 255hp 2nd gen one would put up a good fight. There was one floating about running nitrous
Gazboy
I'd *do* a phase 2 in a 172 in the twisties & I bet I can get from one end of a twisty B road to the other faster than a phase 1 in a 1.3 Hyundai. I followed a phase 1 in my MR2 many years ago, painful to watch.
Guest Nicholas
Are these not extremely tail happy round bends? I should think if you push hard enough he'll loose it ;)

There was one floating about running nitrous Strange, a friend of mine had phase 2 and he only managed to pull 1 car length on a EP3 Civic type R down a couple of miles of motorway. Apparently you've got have 100% concentration when driving one quick else you'll end up facing the way came or worse.
Wez
Interesting indeed as I found they handled great, even in the wet.
