Was running late for work one day last and so parked in a public car park in Westbourne instead of using the company park & ride. I dont usually like to leave it in public carparks for any length of time as we've all heard the stories of the jealous fcuk's and their kebabs etc but I had no choice... I returned 4 hours later and decided to pop home for lunch. It started like a dragging sound underneath the car so I pulled over expecting to find a stick or something stuck under there but it was clear so carried on home... The dragging sound soon turned into a light knocking sound and by the time I got home it was a rather concerning thumping noise! On close inspection of my rear drivers side wheel I found to my horror that 2 wheel nuts were missing, 2 were barely hanging on and the only thing holding my wheel on was my locking wheel nut..! To me this looks well suspect, what are the chances of 4 nuts coming off at the same time and the only one staying on being the locking one? I bet some little fcuk has had a go at nicking me wheels..! So, if your a bangin - check yer nuts..! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I've been paranoid about checking my nuts (oh-err) ever since it was pointed out to me that "you don't know the last time someone tried to knick your wheels". What a t***er tho...... was this wannabe thief so stupid that he didn't realise the locking nut would be a problem until AFTER he removed the others? I had parked at the back out the way of everyone to avoid getting door knocks and this probably made it easier for them to get at me nuts... you just cant win these days... If I ever caught one of em messing with my motor they would seriously get hurt I got a black Soop whitesupraboy2 ** MRX These little fcuk's that do this stuff just dont realise how dangerous it can be...
