Jive
Maximum size of the pics you can upload to photobucket are 800 x 600 so if they're larger than that, you'll need to scale them down.
kieren1234
That may be the problem.
marbleapple
I upload hundreds of pics over 1mb so size isnt a problem. Have you used their technical forum? - they replied to me within an hour with VERY detailed ways to resolve the issues. http://forums.photobucket.com/
marbleapple
Here we go: I am seeing 'Internal System Command Error'. This error indication usually occurs when something in the internal settings for the image file is not accepted or understood by the image processing software on the Photobucket site. In most cases, you can work around the issue by trying a different upload method (e.g. Bulk Uploader For Images) or by opening and re-saving your image file in a photo or graphics editor on your computer. The issue you are experiencing may be related to the color settings that are saved into your file. If your file was saved with something other than an RGB 'color mode' or 'proof setup' (CMYK is commonly the issue), then it will not upload into your Photobucket account. CMYK and RGB color settings apply to both color and black & white images. CMYK settings are traditionally used for design/print work, and the 'color space' is typically incompatible with the online world. RGB is more web-friendly, and the majority of files are saved in this format that is intended for web usage. We suggest that you load the picture into a photo or graphic editor (PhotoShop, PaintShop, etc.) and specify RGB color/proof settings before saving. Be sure to select a new file name and check the editor settings to make sure the following two things are set properly: Color mode/color space should be RGB Proof setup/proof colors should be RGB The exact steps or settings may differ depending on what image editing tool you are using. Another option is to try saving the image as a different file type. This must also be done with the use of a photo or graphics editor on your local computer. Simply changing the file extension for the image file is not sufficient. Open the image in a photo or graphics editor and use the 'Save As' option. Select one of the Photobucket supported image file types and save the file with a new name. Then, try uploading that new file to your Photobucket album. If this didn't help, please choose another option on the left or contact us http://photobucket.com/contact
fishman
leave it for a day or something, i doesn't matter if the res is over 800x600 as it automatically resizes them to it anyway..... Just use imageshack.us its quicker aswell....
Guest gzaerojon
have you copied them onto your computer first? it might have a problem going straight from the camera. i use photobucket all the time and i have never had a problem with large images, the largest one i uploaded was 45mb and it uploaded ok (took about 20 mins though lol)
