imi
seems a fine was best. When im sure normally it would be a grid penalty http://www.itv-f1.com/News_Article.aspx?PO_ID=41104 10K fine.....laughable. Thx to Hamilton the other two teams got away with it
Alex
Last time it happened a 0.5sec pen was imposed...but they couldn't do it this time as the quali system has changed in the mean time. 10K Fines are sensible, they've taken away the tyres so no real gain has been made. Gordon F
He's be a star in IndyCart. That would be quite cool actually, having two brits as the top 2 drivers in a yank sport. Though it pains me to correct you Jake, it's IRL not Indycart, and the top Brit from this year is off to do Nascar next year
Gordon F
10K Fines are sensible To a team that has just survived a $100m fine? It's the bargain of the century to me

I've never heard of IRL. It's not a sport I follow really. I saw Dario Fanchetti win the last race of the season the other but I only caught by accident. colsoop
I seem to remember a few races back Ferrrari going out on the circuit behind the safety car without wet weather tyres. When asked about it they claimed they didn't know did they get punished ? no of course not !
ivan
Yes they did - they had to do drive through penalties.
Alex
Yes they did - they had to do drive through penalties. Not for that they didn't - they only had to change and that put them at the back of the pack.
